1. Operator And Agreement
These Terms of Use govern waylith.com, Waylith accounts, and the Boson desktop and iOS applications and cloud services. They form an agreement between you and Waylith Solutions LLC ("Waylith," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, downloading Boson, or using the services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility And Shared Accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live. You must provide accurate account information, protect your password and devices, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Waylith and Boson share one Supabase authentication identity. The same credentials work across both services, and one email address cannot be used to create duplicate authentication accounts. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. The Website And Boson
Waylith provides information about its products and a direct Boson download. Boson provides local-first tools for tracking business operations, including sales, expenses, inventory, clients, services, invoices, and portfolio reporting. Authenticated records may synchronize through Boson Cloud when a connection is available.
Boson is an evolving prerelease product. Features may change, be interrupted, contain errors, or be discontinued. You should maintain appropriate independent records and backups for your business.
4. Downloads And Installation
Boson may be downloaded without creating or signing into a Waylith account. The website obtains the current public Windows installer from Waylith's GitHub release repository and begins the file download directly rather than sending you to a release page.
The current prerelease Windows installer is unsigned. Your browser or operating system may show an Unknown Publisher or similar warning. Review the file name and source before installing software, and do not bypass a warning if the source is not waylith.com or the official Waylith release repository.
5. No Accounting, Tax, Legal, Or Financial Advice
Boson is an organizational tool and is not certified accounting, tax-filing, payroll, banking, legal, or financial-advice software. Reports, calculations, conversions, invoices, and reminders may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be independently reviewed before you rely on them for important decisions.
6. Your Content And Data
You retain ownership of information and content you enter. You grant Waylith and its providers a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, and display it only as needed to operate, secure, and support the services and comply with law.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to enter, process, and synchronize content, including personal information about clients, staff, or other people. The Privacy Policy explains current data practices and security boundaries.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not violate law, court orders, contracts, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
- Do not upload malicious code, interfere with the services, probe security, bypass access controls, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, facilitate fraud, or use the services for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Do not scrape, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the services except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not use automated means that place unreasonable load on Waylith or its providers.
8. Providers, Availability, And Fees
Waylith relies on providers including Supabase, Cloudflare, OpenAI Sites, GitHub, Frankfurter, and Apple. Their availability and terms may affect the services, and we are not responsible for third-party systems we do not control.
Boson does not currently charge a subscription fee for the prerelease version. If paid features are introduced, pricing and additional terms will be presented before you are charged.
9. Suspension, Termination, And Deletion
You may stop using the services at any time. Boson Personal Settings provides permanent deletion for the shared account and its synchronized Boson workspaces. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Waylith, users, providers, third parties, or the public; respond to legal requirements; or enforce these Terms.
10. Disclaimers And Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, data preservation, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waylith will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Waylith during the previous twelve months or 50 U.S. dollars. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. General Terms And Contact
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the business. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement for the covered services unless additional written terms apply.
